About this event

As part of our committment to mentoring the youth, and empowering the vulnerable, we will be doing this series of online presentations and discussions.

NOT THE OLD BORING SCHOOL-STYLE PRESENTATION!

This is meant to be a fun, laid back interactive presentations where students are encouraged to share stories and ask questions givng them a chance to express themselves. Parents are welcome to sit-in. However, in some cases youngsters will feel more relaxed if the discussions were private allowing them to be open and honest with topics that aren't always easy addressing at home. This is left to the parents' discretion. However, the content of the discussions will be moderated so it does not cross the boundaries of what is deemed 'age appropriate'.

Bullet points covered in the presentation are as follows:

  • TBC

Questions posed may include:

  • Describing experiences they've witnessed or been exposed to.
  • Things they fear or are concerned about
  • How they'd cope with hypothetical situations

Parents if you have a questions or comment you wouldn't mind sharing with sensei and other interested parents, or would like to contribute to the content, please leave your thoughts in this WhatsApp group here.. Otherwise, feel free to communicate with sensei directly.

The completed presentations slides and sources of information and guidance (local schools & police) will be made available to parents before the date of the presentation.
