Karate Curriculum Review (£10)(20pts)

Up to Green Belt, 11am - 12:30pm.

Above Green Belt, 11am - 2pm.

No free-sparring, and warm-up will be light. This is an intensive study session, but less physical as we have much to review.

Intensive review to to prepare for grading and provide an opportunity to get grading points. All members of the Mixed-Ages Group and the Senior Karate group are invited to this intensive curriculum review at Island Gardens. We will cover all of the following:

Kihon / Basic techniques:

• Kihon Tsuki Sonoba & Ido
• Kihon Uke Sonoba & Ido
• Kihon Uchi Sonoba & Ido
• Kihon Keri Ipponme (1) & Nihonme (2)
• Shiho Tsuki 1 - 6

Kata / Forms:

• Shiho Uke
• Pinan 1-5
• Gekisai Ichi (1)
• Naifanchin Shodan
• Sanchin
• Tensho
• Seinchin
• Bassai Dai

Yakusoku Kumite:

• Pinan Yakusoku Kumite 1-5
• Sanbon Kumite (1) Jodan Chudan Gedan, (2) Gedan & Jodan Kosa, (3) Neko Ashi & Shuto, (4) Shiko Dachi + Uraken, (5) Neko + Koken, (6) Kokutsu vs Mae Keri, (7) Mawashi & Shotei, (8) Yoko Uchi + Mawari Ashi.

Discuss Other Shodan Requirements:

• Point Scoring Tutorials
• Bunkai knowledge
• Essay
• Black Belt Physical Conditioning Program
• Karate experience, leadership qualities & experience.

LUNCH:

Feel free to join us for lunch after! A nice scenic restaurant will be reserved, either riverside or canary wharf. Reservations will be confirmed on the day.
