Easter Italy Trip (Mixed-Ages Limited Invitation)

See cost estimates and other important factors to consider below. Please keep in mind that fees for accommodations and travel were negotiated by our Italian Event Coordinator, who is a local. They're not the inflated tourist prices. 

Independent Minors:

Minors not accompanied by parents will have to travel with an appointed guardian such as Sensei or another parent. It is recommended that the parents write a letter of consent naming a chosen individual as the guardian. Parents should also consult with airlines about regulations for a child travelling with a guardian and not make any assumptions. The parent and appointed guardian should agree to a Care Plan with all relevant information for the child's health and well-being on the trip. Basics of such a plan should include finances, discipline, medication, bedtimes and contact details in addition to any other matter of relevance. This Care Plan may be included in the Letter of Consent. 

Flights:

For the full experience you should aim to arrive in Venice on Friday afternoon, 7th April, and return to London Thursday 13th April. Return flights for the buddy easter could cost anything between £80 - £250 depending on how far in advance you book. So don't delay, book early! 

Training Costs:

€80 adults, €50 for juniors. Minimum 3hrs over 2-3 days with grandmaster Iwasa, in a very small intimate group. Good chance of getting more training at no extra cost.

Travel Costs:

€30 per person, per day. Minibus is cancelled but the same travel budget is recommended!

Venice Accommodations:

Friday 7th April: Must book your own accommodations this night in Venice or nearby Mestre as it is difficult to get accommodations for a big group in Venice on Easter weekend.

Feltre Accommodations:

Saturday 8th to Thursday 13th April @ Il Sole di Napoli: Single rooms, €45 per night. Family room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) €90.00 per night. Tourist tax €1.00 per person/night.

Personal Expenses:

Cost of meals and personal spending money for adult or child should be taken into account. As a rough estimate assume the same cost of living as London and eating out 2-3 times per day. We will look at options to save money on some meals 

Currency:

The currency is the euro. Cash machhines and debit/credit card facilities are widely available in Venice and Feltre. However, it is always advisible to have some cash in hand upon on your arrival. Try to check with your bank, the post office and a bureau de change to get the best exchange rates before setting off on your flight. Minors travelling without their parents should have  a bank card arranged and should not walk with much cash.
