Are you crazy about karate?
Our well-established traditional karate school in East London is looking for a passionate and reliable individual who can take up the role of 'Karate Class Assistant'. The right candidate will also serve as a karate apprentice and therefore will be willing to learn the Japanese style of Shito Ryu karate, regardless of previous background. Classes are generally on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
The assistant must have a confident and outgoing personality and enjoy working with children. The right candidate must be very reliable, have a clean criminal record and live within reasonable commuting distance from East London. Full training, equipment and support will be provided. Minimum requirements

1 yr karate training

Green Belt
The Ideal Candidate;

Firstly and most importantly, you must be very passionate about martial arts and LEARNING.

Have a good command of English and have the right to work in the UK.

Be presentable and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Enjoy working with children.

Must not have a criminal record.

Must for the foreseeable future, live in East London or a reasonable distance away.
Class Schedule;
Typically they start between 6pm - 6:30pm.

Monday evening, 1hr: Assistant Urgently Needed

Tuesday evening, 1hr: Assistant desired, but depends on rank.

Wednesday evening, 1hr: Assistant Urgently Needed

Saturday morning, 1 - 2hrs: Assistant desired, but depends on rank.
What you will receive
-
Minimum £12-£15/hr as an assistant lower than black belt. Hourly rate increases as you go up in rank. This would rise to £25/hr after achieving black belt.

£300 Sign-on Bonus: You’ll receive this bonus after you have completed initial training (4 - 10wks).
